Evidence-based Workshop
For those living with diabetes (Type 1 or Type 2)
Self-management techniques include:
- Techniques to deal with symptoms including fatigue, pain, hyper/hypoglycemia, etc.
- Healthy Eating
- Engaging in regular and appropriate physical activity
- Managing stress and emotions
- Using medications safely and efffectively
- Learning to communicate better with healthcare providers
